I am learning to retell the main ideas and summarise what I have read
I am using a mind map to help me retell the main ideas from the non fiction text and summarise.

Well done Kenan. You are getting much better at retelling the main ideas from non fiction text. Next step is to have a go at making your own Popplet mind map to record your main ideas from a non fiction text. It would be good if you could practise retelling the main ideas from a non fiction text at home, as you sometimes find this challenging. Remember to look at the pictures, reread the text a second time and think about the meaning of the words as you are reading to help you understand the text.
It might be good if I could do more practising at home or I could draw a mind map after reading different non fiction articles.
