The 100 Days of School Party

On Tuesday Room 7 had a party because they learned at school for 100 days.

First Room 7 shared their treasure boxes with 100 items. Some people had to share their boxes as some people didn’t have one. We had to count all 100 items and it took a long time!

Next we iced the cupcakes with icing and with decorations.

After that we did 100 exercises. I liked the jumping sacks because I could jump in a zig zag on the line. The one that was hard was the hula hoop because I had to shake my hips. The easy one was the juggling toys and throwing them.

Finally we got to eat the 100 cupcakes. They were delicious and yummy!

The 100 days party was lots of fun!

I am learning to show the EPS values on a school trip

Last term we went to the Auckland Museum to celebrate Matariki, the Maori New Year.

We participated in the Education programme at the Museum and even got a ta moko on our face!

I am learning to show respect by:
Using my manners
Listening to my teacher, my parent and Museum staff when they are speaking
Having a caring attitude to others in my group

I am learning to show resilience by:
Participating in new activities and learning experiences at the Museum
Making good choices
Asking for help if needed

I am learning to be responsible by:
Being prepared – wearing the correct school uniform and getting to school on time to catch the bus to the Muesum
Following instructions and rules from the staff at the Museum

Staying with my group and parent at the Museum
